Data protection – privacy policy

TERA Tehnopolis d.o.o., Trg Ljudevita Gaja 6, 31000 Osijek, OIB: 39077073015 (hereinafter: TERA) takes care of the protection of your personal data and takes all necessary technical and organizational measures in accordance with best practice and obligations prescribed by Croatian law and the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR).
TERA’s privacy policy governs how it handles the information it processes or collects when you visit our website. The processing of personal data is based on one of the lawful grounds for processing.
Contact
If you contact us using the form on this website or via email, the data you have provided to us will remain stored by us until you revoke it or until it is necessary for a purpose that depends on the nature of the business relationship we are in. We will not pass on your data without your consent, and we will comply with legal provisions, especially the deadlines for storing personal data.
Job candidates and recruitment procedures
The TERA HR department collects and processes personal data of candidates for the purpose of implementing a job vacancy. Processing may also be carried out electronically. If TERA concludes an employment contract with a candidate, we will store the submitted data in compliance with legal regulations regarding the conclusion of an employment relationship. If an employment contract with a candidate is not signed, the candidate’s personal data will be deleted after the deadlines for legal remedies following the completed job vacancy have expired, except in cases where, with the consent of the candidate in the completed job vacancy, we retain them in our database for possible future employment.
Data processing (data on partners and contracts)
We process your personal data that we collect during the course of a business relationship, such as name, surname, OIB (Personal Identification Number), address, email address, vehicle registration number, etc. If this is necessary for the performance of our business activities and not related to a specific contractual or business relationship, we collect data from public sources (Court Register, FINA) or if it is legitimately communicated to us by public authorities, contractual partners or third parties.
We collect, process and use personal data only if it is necessary for the purpose of explaining, regulating the content or changing the legal relationship (status data). Pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, the processing of data for the purpose of fulfilling a contract or pre-contractual measures is lawful. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our website (usage data) only if this is necessary to enable the user to use this service or to bill for it. The identified data about partners is deleted after the completion of the work or after the end of the business relationship, respecting the prescribed storage periods.
Cookies
TERA’s website and all other TERA web services use cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device by the browser and do not cause any damage. We use cookies to adapt our offer to the needs of users, and some of them remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser again on your next visit. If you don’t want that, you can set your browser so that it informs you about saving cookies, so you can allow them only in specific cases. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website will be limited.
Server logs
The controller collects and automatically stores information that your browser automatically sends to us, in files called server logs. These include: browser type and version, operating system used, URL referring to the pages, host name of the computer connecting, time of request to the server and IP address. This data is not linked to other data sources.
Newsletter
If you would like to receive the Newsletter and other notifications that we occasionally send by e-mail, we need your e-mail address and information that will allow us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and that you agree to receive the Newsletter. No other data is collected. We use this data exclusively to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. As soon as you sign up to receive the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a request to confirm your registration. You can always revoke your consent to the storage of your data and e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter, for example by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data that we collect, store and process, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that our processing of your personal data violates your rights under the GDPR or you believe that your rights under the GDPR have been violated in some other way, you may file a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency, Martićeva ulica 14, Zagreb, azop@azop.hr, https://azop.hr/.
If you do not agree with TERA’s privacy policy, please do not use our website and do not share your personal information with us. Any changes to TERA’s privacy policy will be posted on TERA’s website.
