Data protection – privacy policy

Data controller

TERA Tehnopolis Ltd, Square of Ljudevit Gaj 6, 31000 Osijek, PID: 39077073015 (hereinafter referred to as Tera) protects personal data and takes due technical and organisational measures by following best practice and obligations assigned by Croatian laws and General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as GDPR).

Tera’s privacy policy regulates the handling of the information processed or collected after visiting our website. The processing of personal data is based on a legitimate ground of the processing.

Contact

If you contact us using the form on this website or by e-mail, your submitted data will stay archived until your revocation or until necessary for a purpose reliant on the nature of the business relationship we are in. We will not pass on your data without your consent, and we are obliged to comply with legal provisions, especially the deadlines for archiving personal data.

Candidates for employment and competition procedures

Tera’s Personnel service collects and processes personal data of the candidates to realise tenders for the establishment of an employment relationship. The processing can be done electronically. If Tera concludes an employment contract with a candidate, the submitted data will be archived in compliance with legal provisions related to concluding an employment contract. If the employment contract with a candidate is not signed, the candidate’s data will be erased after the deadlines for remedies of conducted tenders pass, except for when they are archived in our database for potential future employment with the candidate’s consent in a conducted tender.

Data processing (data about partners and contracts)

We process personal data collected during a business relationship, such as first and last name, PID, address, e-mail, vehicle registration number, etc. If necessary, we collect data legitimately communicated to us by a governmental entity, contract partner or third parties, or from public sources (Court Register, FINA) for the execution of our business activities and not related to a specific contractual or business relationship.

We collect, process and use personal data only when necessary for explanatory statements, content editing or changes in legal relationships (status information). Pursuant to Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR, data processing for the implementation of contracts or pre-contractual measures is legal. We collect, process and use personal data on the use of our website (data on use) only if necessary for the user to use this service or charge for it. Identified data on partners is cleared after completion of work or after concluding the business relationship in compliance with statutory retention periods.

Cookies

Tera web services, including the website, use cookies. These are small text files used by a browser to remain memorised on your device without causing any harm. We use cookies to adjust our offer to the users, and some remain memorised on your device until you clear them. They allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. If you do not want that, you can set your browser to inform you of the memorisation of cookies so you can allow them in specific cases. Whilst deactivating cookies, the functionality of our website will be limited.

Server logs

The handler collects and memorises information automatically sent by your browser in files called server logs. These are the type and version of the browser, operating system, URL redirecting to the site, the hostname of the computer, time of request for the server and IP address. Linking this data with other sources of data is not carried out.

Newsletter

If you wish to receive the newsletter and other notifications that we occasionally send by e-mail, we need your e-mail address and information that will allow us to verify that you are the owner of the respective e-mail address and that you consent to receive the newsletter. We do not collect other data. We use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

As soon as you subscribe to receive our newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with the invitation to confirm the subscription. You can always revoke your consent to storage and use of data and e-mail address for sending the newsletter by using the invitation to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Your rights

You are entitled to receive any information on personal data that we collect, keep and process, the right to be corrected, deleted, restricted, the ability to transfer data, revocation and object. If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the rights prescribed by the GDPR or that your rights arising from the GDPR have been infringed in any other way, you can file a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Agency at Martićeva Street 14, Zagreb, azop@azop.hr, https://azop.hr/.

If you disagree with Tera’s data protection policy, please do not use our website and do not share personal data with us. Any change of Tera’s privacy policies will be posted on Tera’s website.
